TAI will produce up to 109 Certain + 200 Options T-70 helicopter for the requirements of Turkey's needs. It means TAI will be able to export more than additional 300 T-70 helicopters for international markets including USA (Skorsky guaranteed it [1 TAI T-70 for Turkey = Additional 1 T-70 exporting rights]).

As far as I know Turkish army love S-70's (100). You can see them every corner of SE Turkey.

Having a nice trip with S-70 in operation areas...

Good job Turks. It is important to have a domestic helicopter program always. There are scores of benefits of this. Guess the T-129 and T-70 would drastically augment your Army aviation. Will be effective in dealing with terrorism.

Finally, Desicion was made in April 2011 but Final agreement containing the details has done in today. Acc to source, TAI will start production of T-70 BlackHawk helicopters.

National contribution of Turkish institutes: %67 (Critical part productions: Transmission, engine, rotor, fuselage, avionics)
