Search and rescue teams have recovered body of a Pakistani pilot who went missing after his plane plunged into waters in the Aegean off coast of Turkey's western port city of Izmir.

Divers pulled out the body of Maj. Masood Hussain Chhachhar from the Cessna T37 plane 410 feet from the sea surface as search and rescue efforts were still underway to find Serkan Sagir, other missing pilot aboard the Turkish Air Forces trainer.

The aircraft crashed last Monday 3 miles off coast off Izmir's Yenifoca town.

there was a plane rash recently and Maj. Masood was training a young Turkish pilot. They were searching for two of them since than. People were hoping to find them alive but...

A sad conclusion to this tragedy; but at least it gives us closure.

God bless him and people like him. Sons of the soil.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

also thanks to the Turkish rescue teams for their help in the recovery efforts

We should honor the Pakistani pilot and burry his body on our soil as a show of respect, remembarance, and symbol for Turkish-Pakistani brotherhood.

They should put ejection seats on training aircrafts aswell-

May Allah bless their soul and award them Jannah-
and thanks to our Turkish brothers for finding the body of our Pilot- Hope they find of theirs aswell-

Are there no ejection seats in training a/c ?

Do they have blackbox to the least? or communication record?

My gues is, they propably don't have any ejection seat. It was an old plane.

They do have a black box but from the records after a wierd sound there was nothing else...
