Turkish firm to take over charge of sanitation work in 15 union councils

Rawalpindi- Turkish company Albayraq will take over the charge of sanitation work in 15 union councils of Rawalpindi city from the next week.
Chairman Rawalpindi Waste Management Company Raja Hanif advocate said that funds have been released to Turkish company for the first quarterly. The company has brought 200 new vehicles to make Rawalpindi a role model in terms of sanitation arrangements. 4000 small containers will also be placed at different points in Rawalpindi city. One polythene bag will be provided to every citizen for collection of garbage at the door step daily.
Ten kanals of land has also been provided to Turkish company for parking its vehicles and more than 12 kanals of land will be provided within a few months. Comprehensive strategy has been evolved to improve the sanitation system in the city and 750 ton garbage will be shifted daily outside the city.

If the turks bring sweepers from Turkey to sweep the roads in Pindi one can understand.

If they get sweepers locally for the job which they will do, then a local company too could have done the same.

The Turkish company is successful because , it does not tries to take the money and not deliver

Local administration when they came in power 24% of money goes into administrator's pockets, 10% is lost in between employees , or other middle men , and only 50% is left for actual work , and then they do the cleanup with no vehicles or equipment

Success of Turkish company is due to fact , they invest $ into car, vehicles , trucks, training , and hiring local people and that long term thinking beyond 1 year time frame is what makes their operation better

Not to mention they have modern management mind set even for cleaning which traditionally is viewed as no brainer job but no , these kind of things need "Planning" and Management

Turkish company brings in educated management , force that is expert in city planning
