it's pretty hard to form an alliance with them let alone a united military formation

Nato has lots of bottom feeders like Albania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Portugal, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland and many others like Greece.

The only important Nato members are USA, Turkey, France, Germany, UK, Canada and Italy.

How can you say this for Latvia? It is a huge military power with 14700 active personel which 6500 of them professionals.
