That is also correct. It also becomes more complicated when more women join the workforce, which is now starting to happen more and more in Turkey afaik. Govt should come up with solid realistic measures, but ideally speaking at least 3 children are going to be needed to keep Turkey young.
The population grows, like pretty much everywhere, but the age pyramid is slowly shifting. EU already has the aging problem and they are going to need more migrants to make up for their shortage. Google 'Turkiye yaslaniyor' and you can find many articles about Turkey slowly aging while our economy and indicators need way more time to catch up with certain West european countries. Saying Turkey will face similar fate like that of some European countries is too early, but we should take note of what happens in other countries and implement measures to avoid such problems for as much we can.
