Egypt operates Rafale and MiG-29M.

Rafale is french and France is in NATO, so its ok for Egypt to operate the Rafale.

Mig-29Ms....hmmm...#1 Egypt is not in NATO, and 2)i suspect Egypt bought these while the US was actively distancing itself from Egypt because of the poor democratic outcome recently. So these are close but different situations. FINALLY, US mainly cares about Egypt mainly in the Israeli context,so as long as Egypt's purchase of Mig-29s doesnt compromise US or/and Israel's security, US wouldn't really care....and Egypt is not in NATO.
