The Indian-Turkish relationship was and still is defined by Pakistan. While one Turkish dude is talking about India as an ally, the Turkish navy is exercising a drill together with the PN in the Indian Ocean and Turkish engineers are working on war ships for Pakistan.
Actions speak louder.
From most right to the left, entire political spectrum of Turkey supports Pakistan in the the Kashmir issue. Historically, we see Pakistan as a continuation of the former independent state.
