Indeed, I shall go further. There are still more Muslims in India than in Pakistan. They really shouldn't be suffering the way they are at the hands of India's Hindus and they certainly shouldn't be looked down upon in such patronising and condescending tones as are now commonplace. They are rightful owners of the secular republic as much as anyone else, maybe more so! Hopefully, a day will come soon when Indian Hindus remember that if it wasn't for the invasions and progeny of Aryans, Arabs, Afghanis and British, among others too numerous to mention, they'd still be riding elephants and sacrificing each other. Invaders built the gangetic nation. The invaded now need to grow up and be at peace with this reality.

Turkey doesn't have 20% orthodox Christians, unless you're counting gulenists.

Moreover, Turkey hasn't erased the building and its culture and architecture from existence. It retains its appearance and is clearly a Byzantine work of art. Turkey doesn't feel ashamed by that. Christians and anyone can visit and marvel at its splendour, as they did when it was a museum. So actually, nothing has changed in terms of the preservation of history and cultural legacy.
