understanding tamil movies is fine with south Indians(and maharashtrians). for others, it'll be tough. even with subtitles, the way of telling story is difficult for someone from Hindi speaking region to appreciate except for few handful of tamil movies. the new movies in tamil are quiet interesting(if u understand the language and watch without any reservations) .

Well she started off from Telugu movies only. In our state Andhra she is very successful and famous too. Now she is moving on to Tamil and finding success. It seems that before movies she was a yoga instructor in Bangalore.

Actually more Tamil films dubbed in Hindi in set max^^

The Problem is "Hindi Speaking guys " can't understand the difference between Tamil, Telugu, kannada or Malyalam. So if something come dubbed, we assume it will be tamil only..


OffTopic: @ pakistani frnds.. How is the movie Bol going on in Pakistan.. I am planning to watch it today. Many multiplex in bangalore are running it. Its directed by mansoor khan (Khuda ke liye fame director) and acted by Atif Aslam (one of my favorite singer)

The solution is to make the "Hindi Speaking guys " learn atleast one other regional language. I had to compulsorily learn Hindi in school. Will it be wrong for me to expect some "Hindi Speaking guys " to learn Malayalam in return.

this is too much to ask the Hindhi speeking population.
People can watch other language movies with sub title, that is enough to understand what the movie is about.
