Free doses dont mean one would want to inject anything just because its "free". There is no such emergency.
Pakistan can write a simple letter notifying their lack of confidence in India as a licensed manufacturer for the said vaccine and choose any of the 4 other countries acting as licensed manufacturers.GAVI doesnt care as long as you are taking the vaccines and enabling their network.

Once you loose all leverage, you get treated like shit. Pakistan will learn this shortly. North Korea, dependent on China, demands and get more respect ......yes..but North Korea does not seek monetary help SOS every quarter and does not have potential religious virus to harm China. State only facts here, so far pakistan has not made any such statements, neither wrote any letters. Rather its waiting for consignment to arrive. Imran is on record to say that other countries should help his country in corona crisis. World is aware of pakistans poor situation.

This is old news. Covaxin has already completed Phase-3 and found to be an efficacy of 81%.

Indian Govt has not made any announcement regarding who it would want and who it wouldn’t want to get the vaccine. In fact the Indian Govt has gone ahead and donated it to quite a few countries. Why? Because it wants to contribute in the fight against this pandemic.
Let’s not turn this into an ugly spat. Pakistan should know where it stands technically and accept it gracefully.

I don’t know why any country should be ashamed of importing life saving medicines from any country. It appears that rather than accepting the reality regarding lack of much indigenous medicine making capability in Pakistan, a large number of guys are trying to justify why abc or xyz is not Indian.
What about a lot of other medicines that are imported from India in spite of ban by IK? Some of these are imported via Gulf countries.

Just vaccinate your people and move on.
