I have CNN US live on my screen right now,
and there's an interesting tid-bit from Trump's announcements at the end of his visit to Japan..

he says he's not looking for regime change in Iran, only regime compliance with no nuclear development by Iran and likely also no foreign militancy coming from Iran anymore.

let's hope war can indeed be avoided.

How about if Iran is also make a proposal that Israel should also dismantle and stop developing nuclear capability?

If for the sake of the Israel safety, why is not also for entire Middle East too.

The question is... Is the good Israel going to accept it?

In many way, Israel and Iran at the same position.

As both countries are surrounded by countries who are different from them, and both of them need something to protect themselves.

Nobody is asking for Trump's approval certainly not Iran. Its every country's right to acquire a certain technology and not just whom US wishes to have or not.

That sounds like an ultimatum:

"No nuclear development" (not even peaceful)

"No foreign militancy" (as if US doesn't do foreign militancy)

Bolton has won Trump over.

Trump isn't looking for regime change but Bolton and his neocon gang certainly are !
they are too powerful for him to get rid of( John Walrus B & neocons) , unfortunately.
He has admitted to people who helped him get elected and such that he is surrounded by nationalists and overzealous lot and that in the end "supposedly" he does what he wants.
