Trump signs bill blocking transfer of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey

It seems Turkiye seeks something strategic with tech transfer request on long altitude missile programs so S400 batteries have been purchased as 1+1 regiment and deal for +1 option will be placed when ToT issue is agreed with Russian counterparts. It is also noted that Pac-3MSE offer can not be acceptable with the current level of ToT US offers. In additions, We are in a critical timeline to develop our state of art long altitude SAM missiles called “Siper” in additions to very short, short and medium altitude SAM missiles and their derivatives modified for different roles on Navy, Air and Land Forces. When Those programs are completed, Turkey will protect own mainland with a very strong network centric national air defence systems in all air layers against any type of threats. Such a strong and unknown missile system in the hand of a “naughty” member of Western defense block which has been tried to be controlled with economic attacks, sanctions, restrictions, coups, terror corridors; while all other good boy NATO states relying on a few well-known missile systems whose codes and radar emissions can be obtained to de-activate them, may be considered as a threat to Western future policy shaping the region in favor of a few elits or puppet states so they want to seek a rightful reason to issue sanctions to block Turkish self-reliance steps. F35 is the most strategic property US can use against Turkey and They bring forward those cards to convince Turkiye to rely on their systems while offering nothing on tech level. Turkey seeks own independence and No state can block such a proud roadway. We will see what I am talking about, when max 8-10 years timeline has been passed with success stories on those strategic programs. They are moaning not to accept a new player in chess table but They will get used to consider painful reality as long as Turkey keep taking sure steps on strategic programs. We have received tech from Italy for T-129 Atak program about 10-15 years ago but Today, Italy seeks opportunity to join into Turkey’s heavy class Atak-2 helicopter program. That is How the scenarios and roles are replaced step by step when this nation introduced strong ambitious to protect own interests. Maybe, We would have too much haters around our borders who is going to be oriented by their masters but we will always seek opportunity to live proudly inside our borders. F35(Although Turkey is a partner of this program since 2001) like threats are empty things to stop us.

if push comes to shove the West can and will admit Ukraine. there is not much anyone can do about it.
If Ukraine get admitted in this state this means NATO has to declare war and support Ukraine in Civil war because the sovereingty of one of its members is endangered which means an indirect confrontation with Russia.
Now count how many european countries are ready for such a step.

I will start, Poland.... Maybe... Anyone else?

Syria is about a clan ruling the country for 4 decades. a lot of Syrians are pissed off about the clan. outsiders like to fish in troubled waters.
Outsiders dont fish in troubled waters for fun, this is the extension of cold war.

Face it. Ukraine does render Turkey's position less strategic.

The West can admit Ukraine as a 2nd tier member. 1st tier membership conditional on resolution of disputes with Russia. The West can draw a line of control based on the current positions of government and rebel positions
They can keep a tripwire force. Ask yourself if Russians will risk a war

Ukraine is nowhere close to ME. Sry but you are being unrealistic here, if Ukraines position was that important soviets would never allow them to create an artifical state called Ukraine that might fall in western camp one day.
You are still thinking in black and white.

S400 is failure we saw its miserable performance in Syria
f35 is the second most advance jet in world after f22 its knowhow would be very beneficial for turks tfx program its better that turks abandon s400 to please trump stupid ego but get f35 and in place of s400 patriot or even better thaad Turks r also member in euro-sam

i told you in the beginning as far as Russia goes the West has enough countries to contain her
Turkey's only utility is proximity to Middle East and Caucasus

Well its at the junktion of any direction so amon single countries Turkey has the most important geopolitical location, simple as that whether you agree or not.
No Bulgaria Romania Ukraine will ever replace Turkey.

I know its annoying to you but deal with it.

Between Baltics, Poland, rest of Eastern Europe, Romania, Bulgaria and add in Ukraine & Georgia
Russia is pretty much bottled up. Turkey helps but it is not critical

you are free to make an alliance with Russia and see where it goes
