This is a trick of PTI they want to carry out all illegal business without being questioned.

That is what I hate the most …… Political parties in generally blame each other and military elite (govts) and Military Elite (govt) blame political leadership . And we also have snake name be-uro-crazy ……..
In the end they blame importers especially small ones ……..
No one answered my question yet !!!!!!! What happened to Q-Mobile case ??????? they were importing phones instead of manufacturing in Pakistan , they were causing billion of $$$ !!!!!!!!!!! so what happened there??????

There are ways other than depending on Govt. But first you have to come with good business model and improvise it.

I fully agree dear bro ,,,,,,,,, but there is one thing call friendly business environment...……. Manufacturing units facing gas shortage , raw material shortage ……. in the end prices going up …. and people like me(without any manufacturing unit) suffering...….

Govt. need to provide subsidies to exporters to offset the cheap ebergy costs in rest of the world.
Again, Pakistanis pay highest tax in the whole world but lowest quality of life.
Our politicians are those people, who have never worked a single day in their life, all their assets are results of criminal means. They can never understand what's real work.

Every Pakistani pay tax.. there's no way one can avoid tax in Pakistan.

Sir you and I and any one in Pakistan need proper Govt support for any export...… I know a guy who got one order(leather jacket) from ZARA Europe...…. then bureaucracy and cost hurt him(he was not able to find required leather in Pakistan because Pakistanis exporting raw leather to china) , he lost in the end then stopped exporting

Our system is designed to favor the elite and influential class, instead of giving pain to common folks, PTi should first fix this rotten system.-- So many products can be produced here locally, the biggest hurdle is the govt machinery itself.

i can assure you that tons of canola/mustard/sunflower can be grown here and thereby saving billions of dollars, all it requires is govt's interest and support. (though not a farmer, but sowed canola on experimental basis this year, going good, Alhamdulillah).

Just look what's happening with the farmers who grew sugarcane ---- sugar mill mafia is giving one slap after another to the govt., -- i mean this govt can't even control a single entity and asking people to shift from import to export overnight.

it's not about how many, it's about how much govt is collecting tax.
nobody is stopping govt to go after influential class who don't pay taxes.

it's not about how many, it's about how much govt is collecting tax.
nobody is stopping govt to go after influential class who don't pay taxes.

It is about how many. It's goes both way you need facilities you need to pay tax and for that you need better system and when we going to have better system then you will complain also that they are taking tax by force we are middle class and play the poor card.

This is what I said to @BHarwana ……. First target importing items …… start manufacturing , building , growing them in Pakistan …… and keep supporting (building) local small and medium industry …. capable enough to meat local demand without any raw material import …….. Focus on halal food market …… 70% of our papulation lives in villages provide them means they can help Pakistan to have one of biggest Diary industry (we can earn Billon $$) hallal meat industry (Again billion of $$) nd this move also left 30% of Pakistan papulation out of poverty …..
We can not change or shift from importing to exporting without doing what I said ……. It might take 2 to 5 years at max but for that we have to start this month and for a blesse starting hang some top elite members of Pakistani society(people like owners of few campiness I mentioned in my different posts) we can surly do it in 2 to 5 years ...

It's just that petrol price should be down, electricity price should be down blah blah so we all flourish but these things are beyond u and me and neither Imran khan will come on defence forum and read your comments to make the changes. Here we are trying to gather the data what should or can we export so that other can get benefit from it. When some foreign investor come he go back after hitting his head with bureaucracy. Some times a nice man from bureaucracy even tell that foreign investment is limited to the allies of politicians. You bribe and you are allowed to invest and loot.

Nigeria should be taken out of the picture; it is a complete basket case of how you have everything that has failed due to pandemic corruption and looting by all and everyone.

Start first with agriculture which is near and dear to my heart.
1. Add value chain of products e.g. Mango -> to dried mango slices; mango pulp. Organic certification and branding/marketing for specific niche produce.
2. Leverage your consulate officers from doing their own personal business (aka direct point to what your consulate officials do here in Pretoria. never around and running side line businesses and using diplomatic couriers to get personal items for resale.
Fire them or have them replaced with proper Trade folks who are B2B savvy.
3. Increase exposure of products and what makes your products better.
4. Have an agency which assists farmers who are gearing for exports how to meet stringent EU and other market requirement. Work with them to get them off the ground.

5. Leather products just alone... Go after the main area... vehicle seats and high end market. Come to Rossyln which makes it for all mercs/bmw etc. top class even though we are not a large hide producer but just this step alone transforms it to a very high value product.
6. Ban all edible oil imports or put hefty surcharge; you have huge local oil - make use of vegetable seeds from rape seed/canola/mustard/maize/sunflower... list is endless.
7. From 6. by having products made using vegetable seed oil without palm oil alone is a huge boost given the devastation palm oil production is doing in deforestation.
8. Focus on infrastructure, and clean water, sanitation - you need this if you want to encourage people to invest and relocate.
