Tourists in india and pakistan

They are not upper class.

But not lower caste / backward class.

Parsis have Benn included for the first time in the history of independent India.

Cheers, Doc

How is 'class' constitutionally described in India?

Don't forget to tag me when that happens. Maybe such rumors are spread in non democracies to make the people feel better about their relative failures as a nation state. Like North Korea, but with lesser money and more sugar daddies.

I am guessing you are that Kind of guy who said the same thing about every constitutional oppression that has happened in India.

Anyhow i will however Tag you then

And I reckon you are the kind of guy who doesn't understand how democracies work. Yes, when the whole swastika thing happens as you claim, do tag me.

By caste.

Cheers, Doc

But caste is only central to one dominant Religion by numbers in the country.

How are the Minorities then protected constitutionally?

Democracy does not mean Majority is right nor it means Majority is might.

If it helps. I acknowledge your weak attempt at poking Fun at democracy in Pakistan. Fact Check Jack 45 percent of Pakistanis do Not believe in democracy as a viable system.

Nice to know you know a little about democracy. 45%? That poll must have been conducted when 55% of your population lived in erstwhile East Pakistan. Would explain a lot.

Nah. I don't consider a one party state a democracy. As said, feel free to tag me when it happens. And what's your question?

Explain the democratic caste system
You mean how the caste system works in a democratic setup? Sure.

Under various articles of the IPC, CrPC, CPC discrimination on the basis of caste is illegal. Various castes which have historically faced discrimination are given a quota for their upliftment in public jobs, universities and they also get a host of subsidies. Politically, they are a pretty strong group as shown by Mayawati who has won various elections. I think Modi too is from a low caste.

Now that's the democratic bit. In reality, the lower castes continue to face social discrimination in the backwaters of the Northern states. Having said that, more has been done in the last 70 years to end caste discrimination than has been in the previous 5000.
