Because of the safe, peaceful social environment and prosperous economy, Xinjiang's tourism is experiencing an explosive boom , many rural villagers remodel their homes into Homestay B&B , a tourist was approached by a local home rental owner in a southern Xinjiang village and was shown around a homestay place, ¥1690 ($260)per night, cheap or expensive? What do you think?

No not expensive at all
$260 per night is a good price.
However I recommend foreigners to come to Vietnam instead.
Home stay or a room in small cities costs so $10 per night.

You have to factor in the cost of living, in rural Xinjiang cost of living is very low, $1 can feed you a good dinner, $260 per night is more money than the cost they put in decorating the house.

You tell me food is $1 super cheap but $260 per night a super good price? Ok. I don’t think I will ever come to China. Too expensive for me.

$260 USD a night in Xinjiang is definitely expensive considering the local conditions. I think $100 would be more appropriate.

$260 is expensinve even in USA - unless they are offering a mansion it is way expensive . And it is worse if they are targeting foreigners specifically as they are more vulnerable. Govt must regulate to protect visitors getting fleeced.

The video shows every household in the village is under construction of remodeling their homes, it seems to be a good business and they don't lack customers.
