What's new

too ambitious?

Japan to HELP....means India is not able to do things on her own. And there is no promise that Japan will HELP all the way till the project is finished. Japan could pull out any minute.

It need's huge capital & certain skills, Japan has cutting edge leading technology and they have already backed this project even after the Tsunami we would be very foolish if we never took Japan's help when they are a world leader in implementing mega-projects like this.

Even the great super power America, cannot do many things on its own. For example the F-35 where a number of countries are involved! :azn:

Why are you even attempting to answer a low IQ post?

We converted a multi ethnic, multi religious, multi lingual etc country to a stable, strong, secular, democratic republic with a booming economy .That my friend was a difficult task.

What a contradiction......IOC is still burning.....the Sikhs are still seeking justice for the massacre at the Golden Temple....the aboriginals of Northeast India is still fighting for their independence...etc

So they take a Reuters article, change the title and publish it? Isn't that plagiarism:undecided:

Guys please stay on topic this was a good thread to begin with as this is a very important project for India so let us discuss the matter in hand. My take on it is that corruption and obtaining land whilst giving fair money to farmers is the biggest issue for this mega-project.

And you still have drones to shoot down and people to save. I didn't know Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is burning.

Thats a challenge for any project..big or small.

Anyways I hope that in our push for industrialization, we don't 'eat up' excessive farmlands that will then comeback to bite us in the form of food shortage.

well having an ambition is better than having none at all. Those people, who think they are better off without any ambition, desire, goal, target, they are most welcome to their ideas.
Indians, gear up,we have a bright future to look forward to,aim higher, lots of job to do here.

Indian user(s) here always love to trash every thread about India that doesn't not have anything positive to say about the country.

No wonder people say India can't get anything done. (IOC Indian OCCUPIED Kashmir)

I think projects in our countries like this often do not do as well as they could cos of corruption. My take is that corrupt people are more harshly dealt with in china than pakistan and india. perhaps someone could shed some light on this?
