Change has been much more...In the 90s when I used to watch Hindi movies from 70s,80s and 90s..I could barely understand them..Hindi of those times had 50-60 percent Persianized words..at least the high Hindi of 70s and 80s..by 90s things started to change..Now Hindi has barely 20 percent Persianized words..As a Bengali it is much easier now for me to understand Hindi since Bengali is heavily Sanskrit and Pali based. An educated Bengali only needs one year of training before he can fluently read the Pali texts, the exact same language that Shakyamuni Buddha spoke...These days even Islamic organizations and middle class Muslims use Sanskritized Hindi and use Devnagari script in their pamphlets

And of course the earlier Pakistan adopts the Indus Identitarianism the lesser punch Indian Islam would have in being a contrarian force to native Buddhist,Hindu,Jain,Ajivika,Charvaka,Lokayata ideologies
