well we had a similar thread in the past
"TINDERBOX-The Past And Future Of Pakistan" - Book by M.J Akbar which was closed by @Oscar. I'm sure he 'll allow us a discussion on this subject in senior's cafe.
MJ Akbar is not far from truth when he says India did not become secular because Gandhi was secular au contraire he became secular because India was secular.
