Charlie Sheen will be proud. We need more tigers. All the awesome animals seem to be endangered nowadays.

Btw, how do they taste? I wouldn't mind eating one.... providing that it died of natural causes of course so that there wouldn't be an effect on the population

Don't know about tigers, but when I was in Ecuador, an acquaitance of mine hit an ocelot accidentally while driving on the highway. We ate the carcass, & it tastes like C-R-A-P.

didnt the late Uday Hussein of Iraq have 2 of these at one of his palaces? Poor things were found by the invading foreign forces abandoned and near starvation because nobody was there to tend to them

My dad tells me that my great grand dad had a pet tiger . I told him proof or didn't happen. Am still waiting for that proof.

Ask him for a credible source - not Times of India or Rupee news.

And if I am not mistaken India is the only country in the world having all the Big 3 Wild cats - Lion,Tiger and Leopard.

Even there is a proposal to reintroduce the Cheetah which has become extinct in India.

Hey my grandfather told me that there were tigers near Delhi when he first came there. Tigers hunting pet animals in our village in Haryana was common. But that village is huge town now.




Feb 2011: the concrete jungle claimed the life of this leopard, found run over on the NICE Road, Bangalore..... Lorry runs over leopard..... expanding cities causing wild lives....

March 2011: Another incident in the same NICE road, Bangalore..... A leopard was killed on the spot when it came under the wheels of an unidentified vehicle on NICE Road.

My dad used to tell me that back when he was a kid, tigers used to roam in the backyard of my grandpa's bungalow. They used to scare the big cat off with big fire sticks (mashal). Although I was denied a proof, but several of my relatives in the village corroborated the fact.... I do trust him... there is a tiger reserve now near our village, but on a much reduced area.

That's an ocelot though. Who knows, tiger might taste great! Example; I'm not too found of turkey, but I love chicken.
