Padma Bridge - financed 100% by BD
Chinese loans - 5 year grace period and not too high 2-2.5% interest rate over the next 15 years

BD has by far the lowest debt/gdp ratio in the whole of the sub-continent. Even after all these loans are all taken out, BD debt/gdp ratio will go no higher than 35-40% of GDP - Pakistan is currently on 70%.

I can assure you there is Chinese money involved in its feasibility and construction as Chinese company is building this 6 km truss bridge. World Bank withdrew financing from this project due to corruption and one person landing in jail.

Banglas are known for fudging figures and give altrenate figures which is why ADB and others withdrew financing. How much debt Bangladesh has acquired will be seen in 2019.

BD has very low debt to GDP ratio and even if it accumulates a lot of debt with Padma bridge and such projects, the ratio would still not go up significantly since our GDP is growing at a very fast rate. BD has many problems but Debt isn't one of them. Let's not make doomsday prediction for BD over marginal debt it's accumulating.

BD's economic growth has done two things:

1.Proved that Pakistan was transferring resources during 1947-1971 from BD to benefit itself.
2. Destroyed the superiority complex they developed regards Bengalis when they were in charge.

Even with CPEC, BD GDP/Capita will still keep growing 2-3% a year faster than Pakistan.
By 2030 there will be no doubt which country is wealthier and that will not be Pakistan.

Im really sad to admit this. I personally have zero interest in Indian Muslims or Bangladeshi muslims groups. Except for our Kashmiris. I have no animosity towards these people or harbour any bad feelings for them or ills to them. Like I said I don’t have any bond with them culturally or in common. Except for religion but that has limits can not paper over cracks.These 3 Pakistani with good heart have just found out the reality of hate to them.
