This is accurate. Muslim Muslim being brothers is a failed concept right from Muhammad's death. There are many areas of political successes of Islam but this is not one of them. I don't say this in a bad way and please don't take me wrong. A lot of attempts have been made in the past to have this brotherhood but unfortunately they have worked only in a patchy way where there are immediate political gains.

If I may say so, even in this forum there is no venom against China treating uighurs badly or Taliban attacking hazards. Where it politically suits you y o us message is tweaked and THIS is the reason , of having good and bad terrorists, that a broader message of brotherhood is not accepted in the Muslim world. I don't mean at a societal level but overall in th Muslim world.

The above mentioned people who so called fight together are all politically motivated. ISIS was no different. They can go to mosque to pray. That means nothing. Where there is no political gain the Muslim brotherhood stops. E.g. Syria refugees - a Christian Europe , both Catholic and protestant took them in. What did Saudi do.. they "generously" donated to build mosques. Wtf is that. Honestly that infuriated me. Rohingya- which Muslim nation has taken them in? BD reluctantly tool in some. Even India have them and many Hindus fought to keep them when the govt tried to expel them what did other Muslim nations do? Bosnia? Christians helped Muslims. So please do not talk about this imaginary brotherhood. When there is peace and nothing at stake can do all the hugging and smooching. But when it comes to contributing ?
I am not saying that there is no brotherhood but it's partial and very conditional at best.
