Han dynasty was entrenching enough that it defined an entire culture's way of thinking, and it withered away within decades after its ruling system broke down. When, not if, one day the Chinese people decided they had enough of the communists, they will be gone. At the moment, the only thing they have going for them is a strong economy to keep the population happy. Unless you want to tell me PAP in Singapore and LDP in Japan existed for thousands of years, they're not relevant in the picture.
