What's new

The US will block Ukraine's application to join NATO

Who told you? Macaques from Maidana?
Most Ukrainians have always favored the integration with Russia, even though 23 years Russophobian Western propaganda. That is why the pro-Western forces have never been able to win the elections honestly and they had to make unconstitutional seizures of power in 2004 and 2014.

In the Decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the Parliament of Ukraine) adopted on the 2nd of July 1993 “On the Key Directions of the Foreign Policy of Ukraine”, Ukraine declared its European integration aspirations for the first time.

The Ukrainian strategic policy as to the European integration was confirmed and developed in the Strategy of Ukrainian Integration to the EU, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine on the 11th of June 1998, and in the Programme of Ukrainian Integration to the EU, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine on the 14th of September 2000. In particular, the Strategy announced that full membership in the EU was a long-term strategic aim of the European integration of Ukraine.

“On parliamentary hearings on the cooperation of Ukraine and the EU”, approved on the 28th of November 2002; in the Declaration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the 22nd of February 2007 concerning the beginning of negotiations on the new agreement between Ukraine and the EU as well as the Decree of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the 19thof May 2011 concerning recommendations of parliamentary hearings on state of affairs and perspectives of economic relations development between Ukraine and the EU and Ukraine and the Customs Union.

lol i am not rooting for anybody.

just i dont understand why there be a nuclear war if Ukraine joined NATO

You are not rooting for the Ukrainians ?

Thats it you can tell Mrs.Jhungary that I'm gonna support Denmark against Sweden in football (soccer) from henceforth, to avenge this !

Shes still cross at me ? :(

I don't think she has a very good impression of us Pakistanis !

On Topic: You have to agree that even if there weren't a nuclear exchange (which I think very unlikely); Ukraine joining NATO may make Russia - US/Europe relations very difficult !

Why would there be a nuclear war? Ukraine is not part of Russia and Russia have no control on what Ukraine gonna do in foreign policy level and diplomacy level

On what ground are you saying Russia will nuke Ukraine or US or EU?

Russia already annexed Crimea. They have already proved they won't be stopped when it comes to their territory there.

If Ukraine joins NATO, and then Russia takes Eastern Ukraine, will NATO fight?

If NATO fights Russia, the chances of a nuclear war become extremely high. The end-game would be a nuclear exchange between Russia and America.

If Russian wants Eastern Ukraine, they wont wait until Ukraine joining NATO. Cos once they did they would be under the NATO umberlla, if that happened like you said, then Russia is does not want Eastern Ukraine, rather they want a full on all out war with the world

If they want E Ukraine fir the sake of E Ukraine then they woild take it BEFORE Ukraine joining NATO,

Otherwise if they attack after Ukraine joining, then they wont have Ukraine as Russia, and the world would cease to exist.

So i am asking you once again, why Ukraine joing NATO would mean nuclear exchange.

Swedish football is not really that famous in Sweden, if you have to root, you should root for norweigian Handball team, they are the arch enwmy ofbSwedish handball team

and on topic, you cant get as low as the Current US-RUSSIA relationship

Why would Russia want eastern Ukraine? Putin has repeated said he does not want to annex eastern Ukraine, because Ukraine is a brother nation of Russia speaking the same language.

Ukraine will not be able to join NATO because Ukraine would then ask the US to fight Russia to get Crimea back. The US does not want a war with Russia.

Why US have to fight for Ukraine when Ukrainian alone is more than enough for the job at hand already lol?

What US doing now is to bleed the Russian Economy so no funding will be flowing to the Rebel from Russia, from what i am seeing, they are doing a very good job.

Why do US need to fight for Ukraine to get Crimea back lol?

Chapter 5. An attack on one is an attack on all. Ukraine considers Crimea occupied territory. That means Russia attacked Ukraine. That means the US would have to fight Russia.

lol u said you are rooting for danish football...lol

I just helped u a bit along the way hehe

Chapter 5. Ukraine considers Crimea occupied territory. That means the US would have to consider Crimea US territory occupied by Russia. No one wants Crimean War 2 where millions would die.

where did u get that from? ur own superbook?

If you had actually read my original post, you'd see that I never actually said that.

This is what I *actually* said:

That seems like a recipe for nuclear war.

It would be sad, if the first (and last) US-Russia nuclear war, was because of Ukraine.

Read it properly this time, if you are able to.

To clarify further, I'll rephrase: "Ukraine joining NATO may increase the chances of nuclear war".

Why? Because last time Ukraine tried to join the EU, look what happened to Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Do you think the Russians will tolerate Ukraine joining NATO?

Crimea and Eastern Ukraine are not the end. Russians consider Kiev to be the "mother of all Russian cities".

Putin: 'Kiev is the mother of all Russian cities' - The Washington Post

Now maybe the US and NATO can sit back and watch Russia take more, that would avert a nuclear war. But once Ukraine joins NATO, will America be able to sit back anymore, like they did for Crimea?

A united and strong Europe is the last thing the US wants to see.

A strong and militarily powerful Russia is the last thing the US wants to see.

A strong and economically successful China is the last thing the US wants to see.

A Berlin-Moscow-Beijing axis is a must for the peace, stability and prosperity of the world.

dude, last time Cuba breakaway from US and joinging the warsaw block, there are at no pojnt the world is risking a nuclear offensive.

No one, i mean no one, even as crazy as russian would want to risk 150 milloons of their citizen for a foreign country in a nuclear exchange over soemthing that Not even its land at the begining.

What you are essentially saying is Russia are willing to exchange 150 millions of their own citizen over the 50 millions population of Ukraine.

So either you actually mean Russia is that stupid or you really believe Russia willrisk nuclear war with the West when Ukrainian joined NATO.

Putin is crazy, he is not THAT crazy

and what make you think US have been sitting back and watch the whole things before or after Russian aannex crimea? If you believe US did nothing during and after crimea, then you are less throughtful than I originally think
