On April 13, 2017, Wang Zhaoyao, Director of the China Astronautics and Aerospace Engineering Office, held a working meeting with Chairman of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Council, Major General Qaiser Anees Khurrum.
Astronaut selection and training and other relevant cooperation with the Chinese side were discussed.
The two sides agreed to sign the cooperation framework agreement and set up a joint working group.

We are a long way away.

I have a colleague in Suparco who wants to desperately get out of post for greener pastures. The fellow has constantly been in troubling waters with (retd.) military officers in senior management. He has nick-named them as 'seth sahab'. I guess, Live in rome as romans do or eject.

Just like our president, our space program surfaces once a blue moon to be talked about.

Half of problems in Pakistani R&D are because of these retired military officers in their upper management

Not just retired military officers but retired burecreates ... mentally they are still 30 to 0 years behind and dont want to move forward ...

They simply don't have a high opinion of local talent. Heck, YOU don't have s high opinion of local talent. I remember you criticizing the quality of 'Pakistani student projects'.

They simply either don't like thinking out of their fauji boxes, pr don't want the extra work or are just okain there to earn commissions on equipment
