What's new

The Korean model

Play both sides for your benefit (India&Pakistan). It's the art of the deal. One sided strategy isn't gonna work. Be pragmatic.

India is 10x bigger market. That dictates American engagement
Pakistan is never going to get parity where it does not exist

China has a bigger market.....why don't you ally with them if that is your only criteria?

So you prefer a forever war in Afghanistan? Again be pragmatic.... and play both Pakistan and India. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over an over again and expected different results....spend another 50 years in Afghanistan. As I said you have the watches but the Taliban has the time.

Market size is not the only criteria. You cannot ignore a 10x differential.

Indian markets are more open than Chinese markets

USA does business with both India and China

The war in Afghanistan is not America's choice. We left Afghanistan alone in 1990-2001. You have not responded what it lead to

That's was a mistake on our side. ISIS-K is morphed version of TTP. TTP has killed 10,000's of Pakistani's...PA will kill on site...response will be very different. Actually NDS and RAW have assisted ISIS-K.

the way I look at it - if pakistan managed its own internal business it will have more options

The way you left was stupid

In your victory lap after the cold war you refused to listen to your own American experts and start a rehabilitation programme to try to control the mass of fighters and groups left over after the conflict

You are free to research or do a simple Google search on the topic

It is a sign of the decline of U.S power and standing that your foreign policy has lost so much nuance and pragmatism
It is currently bull headed and far to ideological and its making you stupid
