Submerged akula's displacement exceeds 12500 tons....

Isn't displacement directly related to diamensions of submarine ???

If you look at the data , arihant has larger diamensions than other two ....still even the surfaced displacement is less..

Something fishy ........

It is because only length of sub is confirmed while other dimensions are just thought & guess of people. And I don't think it's size will be greater than Akula(due to weight consideration) It can be compared with George Washington class submarine to a certain extent in size.

^^ i guess 4th sub will weigh 8,000 tons and 5th sub will weigh 10,500 tons

4th sub may carry 6 to 8 K 4 missiles and 5th sub may carry 6 K4 and 4 A 6 missiles
