There are limits to a President's veto as well. Although i doubt F35 program is under any credible threat from a democrat congress, but this guy's thesis has some merit that democrats always try to take funding away from the military to make up for all other shortfalls in their development budget. and there will be pressure on the military-although knowing trump, he would be bullish on all such push back from the democrats.

Each country has their own definition of what is "fifth generation". It is pointless to call the J-20/F-22/etc. by their self-proclaimed classifications without looking at detail what each platform brings to the proverbial table.
