If your definition of Anglo-Saxon is English American then the population of the US with that heritage is less than 9%.

Anglo-Americans are the elite groups in USA.

People of German ancestry are the largest group, aren't they?

It doesn't really matter, Anglo-Americans are on the top of the pyramid of the US society hierarchy.

Also, when you look at American culture, you will see that it resembles the UK more than it resembles Germany. It seems that "Anglo-Saxon" culture and mentality is dominant.

My loyalty is to my nation.

Instead, what do you propose? Refusing their roots, living an identity crisis, abandoning their language and religion, and then serving German nation which is in the meantime serving Kurds, Jews, Americans?

Lets be honest, mate. Germany is lost cause. Why would a Turk want to serve Germany?

Many German Americans are in fact 1/2 or 1/4 of German ancestry and mixed with the British ancestry, and they are also heavily anglicized, thus they behave more British than German.

Then just go back to back to your roots if your loyalty is not your naisance country. There nobody would question you at all.
