The dilemma in the Muslim world

Guys, this is a good topic but forget about one's relationship with god.Why dont someone say clearly what are the strict Dos and Dont's of Islam and which are the flexible options?

This is your assumption and non issue which lead to divide and you will be the first one to get fired up.

On a side note any person starting thread with title 'Hindu' 'Piss' etc. will be banned but i wonder why those Islamophobists are not banned who start thread with title 'Muslim' 'Islam'

Wich one of those words do you equate with "piss"? If neither...you have your answer.

There is no camp

90% of Pakistanis are inefficient

5% are real genius , and 5% are gangsters or in Army

Nothing can be expected form 90% inefficient folks except burning tires and backstabbing

Untill the 90% awaken to a state of higher consciousness - we will still have issue of people pointing fingers

a) Paying taxes
b) Protecting environment
c) Cleaning cities
d) Improvements in social issues
e) thinking as collective

With out the awakening - does not matter what faith is preached won`t work evolution needs to kick in to evolve the group

The question is, are the 'strict' Muslims considered more pious than the 'moderate' Muslims in the eyes of Allah? And are the 'strict' Muslims considered more pious than the 'moderate' Muslims in the eyes of the people? These are very important questions in my opinion.

I agree, that's mostly strict pious Muslims think and they look at us with little laugh. Many of them are strangely intolerances, self-respect attitudes, and many honor killings.

What a strict pious Muslims learn anything? Bascially, Allah create this free world to test all people, unfortunately all people didn't get along well. Billions Muslims including us are the only people very slow learning, very isolated, and little understand concepts while other progress fast.

There should be a law ban immediately on unnecessary Niqab or long beard everywhere.

Being backward doesn't necessarily have to do with religion. If a society has no education, then they'll automatically become backward - religion or no religion, it don't matter.

If we look back during the Golden Age of Islam, Muslims were innovative and progressive. And then? God knows why they have become so weak.

As far as being pious goes - well that is for the Almighty to decide. Muslims submit to His will with Prophet Muhammad being the last messenger.

The major reason was fighting between the different Muslim states + the mongol invasion. Baghdad was a great center of learning, its House of Wisdom held some of the great literature of the Ancients. And it was all burnt to the ground when Hulagu captured it. Prior to that Khurasan and Persia had already been laid to waste. Yet not all of it can be blamed on the Mongols. Around the Mongol invasion and after it you see Muslim states quarreling amongst themselves resulting in almost constant warfare. Not a healthy place for intellectuals and scientists. Abbasids, Fatimids, Ayyubids, Seljuks. Simontaneously in the west Cordoba has been another great center of learning but was lost to the Christians along with the rest of Al Andalus by 1492.

Due to this warfare, Muslims became less open to new ideas. Kings who had formerly given grants to artists, scientists now were more busy building armies. Then came colonization, which left the Muslims even more behind. Today slowly things are changing, but we still have a long way to go to reach the same open mindedness of the early Muslims who saw no problems whatsoever in being practicing Muslims and scientists/philosophers. They questioned things, wondered why things worked the way they did. You dont see the same curiosity in Muslims today.

Well.

A muslim is judged by his actions.

'A muslim who lies is not one of us'
Prophet Mohammed (SAWS).
'A Muslim is judged by his prayers'
If a person, lets say Faiza, is borned in a 'muslim family' and shares a 'muslim name', doesnt actually make her a muslim.
She doesnt pray, doesnt fast, wears short and skirts, go out dating, and saying she is a muslim, do you really think she is?

Others like those who feed on poor people (government), and earn haram money instead of fulfilling their expectations, do you think are muslims?

A muslim is someone who is caring, generous, prays five times and other small things.

So there are either muslims, or those are are born muslim. There isint anything like good or bad muslim.
Taliban terrorists call themselves muslims, do you it is safe to call them 'bad muslims?'

Here is something else:

May I offer a different take good people?

What 53fd said in his opening post can be said of Christians just as well!
Crusades saw these faithful fight for the glory of a God whose incarnate Son said :
Love each other as I loved you. I.E. up to letting yourself be killed without fighting back.
By that rule, the said Crusades were a blasphemy?

In the modern world, many Christians don't act like ones but think they are.
It really is a matter of relationship to God more than a question of which version of the Creator.

Even as you interpret the Word of the Deity, you put yourself in the equation.
The good ones will draw good out of a bad religion ( whichever it may be ) …
and the bad ones will corrupt the best of divine messages?

An ulema and a monk can discuss theology between their faiths without violence. ( I know, I did. )
If uneducated, Christian vs Christian or Muslim vs Muslim will draw blood, that simple, IMHoO.

It's not really a Muslim problem.
Good day all, Tay.
