Thane - Day and Night Skyline

The haphazard traffic patterns are downright embarrassing though.

Yeah the traffic looks a nightmare, especially in spots its piling up. I bet the flow simulations have long been done, but its just the usual bureaucratic and legislative nightmare of acquiring land to create better flow infra. City planning and implementation is quite the dark art in India sometimes.

Much of the traffic flow in India can be blamed on people themselves. The traffic rules are there for all to follow. Tell me something, how many people actually get a license after passing from a government driving school? When pilots are mandated to follow rules by DGCA, why can't driving schools be regulated? Most of them are private centers 'authorized' who have a network and "setting" to make money underhand.

Traffic, garbage and corruption in our country is not the fault of government, but the people. We always find that 'government is at fault'. But remember, these MLAs and MPs only sell you what you want.

Yep completely agree. It takes two to tango.
