BYD's flagship Han family of sedans sold 26,003 units in August, while the flagship Tang family of SUVs sold 10,815 units.

I think we can writeoff all the PDF hype about the BYD Han EV "Tesla killer" taking over the world. Now in production for over 2 years and it is simply floundering.

The BYD Song or Dolphin are more likely challengers.

Sounds like some are desperate to misled others. I still remember @F-22Raptor brag about how Tesla going to beat BYD in coming years in sales of EV in China in early 2022.

Typical one day champion mentality. But the EV race is not just one day but many decades ahead.

still not gonna beat byd. their factories are now up and running, not like before in q1 where they were still under-construction.

byd currently has a backlog of 700,000 orders. they are on fire.
