because we are better and we get best foregin inputs in our truck . Obviously LCA Mk1 is a strike fighter but light weight. And ultimately Mk1 is going to win as Low Thrust

Some corrections .... Tejas already has undergone 6.9g unofficially and thats not its maximum but rather the max which has been tested- if you see the design of the plane then it should be able to pull 8gs comfortably.
Weapon load being limited is hardly a drawback since it was designed to be a LIGHT combat aircraft
cost is 35 mill - which is pretty cheap.
Right now low thrust and AoA seem to be the main problems - cant do anything about the thrust in mk1 and AoA is being increased to a respectable 24 -28 degrees.
Unfortunately drdo and hal seem to need 3-5 yrs to increase AoA and integrate a bvr missile ( the missile part should be easy as the radar is israeli and the missile is israeli).
Wonder why there are delays now...

JF-17 is operational? I have yet to see or hear of it firing off the SD-10 if that is the missile the PAF have opted for. Tejas a waste of money? I disagree, the growth potential of the Tejas is far greater especially with a F114 engine or Kaveri that would enable it to super cruise. The JF-17 has failed to impress even the PLAAF! Its a great aircraft for its cost, but better options like the Mig-29 are available off the self. Even a PAF pilot will admit that because of the engines lack of growth the aircraft will be obsolete compared to the J-10 or Tejas that will eventually be able to super cruise.

Cluster Bomb??? WHo claimed that??? By the way LGB (Laser Guided Bomb probably 500 pounds) has been tested by LCA, you can see the Pics in LCA sticky thread. It was tested at Chitradurga and The bomb precisely hit the Bulls Eye...

You can't really compare it with LCA weapon testing, because IAF for some reasons is doing it only with prototypes unlike JF 17, which was inducted into PAF service and then started integration of most capabilities, like it is the case in most foreign air forces too. IAF seems to want LCA fully capable, before it enters service, which I don't really understand, since the MK1s will be stationed in the south at first and won't have to be fully capable, especialy in the strike role.
So we shouldn't compare it with other fighters until it is inducted into IAF as well and keep the thread clean from unnecessary comparisons.

here you go mate ! i asked for same thing in Sticky thread as well, no boddy had the pix i guess. looks like its doubtful that LCA did bombing at pokhran chandan ranges other wise every single event related to LCA brings out pictures before results.
Sorry for stating Cluster bombing, i thought u guys might use Clusters for carpet bombing.
