Tehran-Ankara passenger rail service resumes

Tehran-Ankara passenger trains have not been available since 2015 due to attacks by PKK terrorists. As a result of the successful operations carried out by Turkey and Iran, the region has reached a peaceful environment and train services have started again.

Last night the passenger train from Tehran successfully carried out the trial run to Van Station . First train has 5 wagons and a capacity of 200 people.

The passenger train, which performs its first test journey after 4 years, will continue its daily services between Tehran and Ankara from next week.Turkey and Iran aimed at the development of relations between peoples.

The city of Van was a popular shopping destination for our Iranian brothers and sisters. However, besides Van, summer tourism is also in demand especially in areas like Antalya Mersin, in recent years . On the other side, cultural tours organized to Iran, have become increasingly popular in Turkey. The re-activation of the Tahran-Ankara railway and the integration of the Turkish and Iranian railway system will affect our trade as well as accelerate our cultural integration.

China, Russia, EU, Japan, South Korea and hopefully Indonesia and all the others are proving that one can achieve a high level of social development and national wealth without selling your own soul to the US. You don't have to lick American boots to be successful.

your right Iran has resources like no country. that's why its attracted foreign vultures into Iran. that's why Iran is suffering from economic depression. Foreign vultures like the US see Iran as their property and will do anything they can to try and get it back. that includes using their finanacial levers in the world economy.

Turkey's geography and climate are the same as European countries, and the Iranians really enjoy this climate, but Iran has mostly has Middle Eastern climate. BTW very beautiful country you have there.

if you get santioned, its what can happen to turkey than you will be sanctioned and you cant do much about it except to bow down.. dont really know what your obsession is with trying to prove that turkey is alot richer then Iran. the average turk barely has a better living standard then the average Iranian. this with the mentioned sanctions.... but if it makes you feel better, then have at it.

When Iran gets recognized as the regional power (as obama, and virtually anyone not named trump were about ready to accept reality and do) we will have both economic prosperity and independence.

sacrificing independence for a slave type economy thats completely in the hands of the americans while being vassals... is not worth it.

Turkey can be brought to its knees tommorows by a single order from trump.. they have thrown everthing they had at us for 40 years.... and still we stand.

Iran has trillions of dollars of energy reserves along with many other favorable economic conditions ready to explode at any time. Turkey would be lucky to hold its ground and not collapse economically, politically, or socially within the next decade.
