Knowing people in the Indian Army, I can assure you that no Indian soldier in any armored division is "having nightmares" based on flawed perceptions of our battle-readiness

600 T-90s, going to be 1600+ by 2020. 480 Arjuns too.

Yes, it is getting big for India since China is also building a hug military. India use to have 700+ combat aircraft that are down to 500.

Indian navy is building but they do have to defend an area 4 times of the Pakistani coast.

I dont think a war between China and India is going to happen any time soon. And I am talking about India and Pakistan not China.

Ya, whole bunch of MIGs have been retired. We also have Su MKI, Mirage 2000, Tejas coming, MMRCA, PAK FA, etc

250+ Migs are still service and will have to be fazed out in the coming years. Mirage 2000 will get a mid-life upgrade. MMRCA and PAK FA will take years to be inducted, but they will be a good punch for the IAF. Harriers also need upgrades. The Mig-29s from the eighties are being updated by Russia, so they will become better after the upgrades.
