Oh come on, why are some flat out denying it? If the ISI are protecting these people and actively controlling them (Haqquani/ US embassy etc) as many senior US/Afghan officals assert, it is not a huge leap to assume they are arming them. In fact I'm surprised this is news at all, this is an open secret if nothing else/

Nah, more like a case of conspiracy theories, delusion and paranoia. No credible and solid proof exists against ISI. Mostly hearsey, and statements from Afghan and US officials which mean nothing unless they're supported by evidence.

Given the fact that there are reports upon reports from Western sources themselves of Taliban militants being caught with NATO issued weaponry, one would think that the One Star Idiot the US put in charge of the investigation into the US murder of Pakistani troops would have the sense to NOT jump to such erroneous conclusions ...

But then again, the fact that the US put this particular One Star Idiot in charge of the investigation is one of the reasons the PA rejected the US investigation ....

these are diversionary tactics, this isn't a way to build CBMs after a very foolish and costly attack on PA troops

such accusations are neither new nor unheard of....there's an entire lucrative global black market on firearms -- small medium large....even if PA wanted to supply them with arms, they'd represent a very tiny fraction of the puzzle.

talebs have access to German made scopes; the BLA has access to european origin military-standard portable RF jammers (and what have you).....what's their point?

by the way, if there were credible evidence of this --the US would have circumvented the UN and unilaterally declared Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism ---and that even DESPITE the fact that the US/NATOs themselves are in talks with the same people whom they have been at war with for over the past decade or so; imprisoned talebs are being released, contact is established with them --hell, for all we know --factions of the taleban may already be getting US taxpayers' largesse


as i said, Pakistan represents only a fraction of this Afghan puzzle ---the real travesty here is that neither side took a real meaningful note of the others' concerns or grievences

Yes the taliban are receiving the Pakistan Army's equipments.

It has pounded them heavily. The equipments include GBU-29/31 and Mk-82s from F-16 and JF-17s.
Artillery and rockets from Cobra. All of those shoved up their a$$es.
So yes, it's true that they are getting Pakistan Military's equipments, and US confirmed this too.

Anyways why is 'The Hindu', a newspaper from Secular India posting this? Are they appreciating our effort to bring peace not only in the region but international level? Are they being thankful to us for fighting those terrorists which could target India too just like Pakistan Navy did saving MV Suez when Indian Navy was ignoring?
