A Syrian and a Japanese discuss ISIS and the hostage situation. Many people from Japan feel that the hostages have brought their situation on themselves. Haruna Yukawa was fighting along side the FSA, and whilst Mr.Gato was an innocent jouranlist he entered Syria illegally with the FSA, to try to save his friend, criminal Haruna.

Haruna Yukawa has mental issues and the reason for it is quite sad, dont be fast with judging, it can happen to any of us tomorrow.

Changes in Yukawa's life in suburban Tokyo had been fast and disorienting. Over the past decade, he had lost his wife to lung cancer, lost a business and his house to bankruptcy and been forced to live in a public park for almost a month, according to Yukawa's father and an online journal he maintained.

The hard times led to soul searching. By his own account, he had changed his name to the feminine-sounding Haruna, attempted to kill himself by cutting off his genitals and came to believe he was the reincarnation of a cross-dressing Manchu princess who had spied for Japan in World War Two.

Well if they enter the country one their own accord, they should be aware of the risks. The question is what will the Japanese government do? If they ignore the terrorists' demands, the hostages will be killed but if the Japanese government heeds to the terrorists' demand, they will be seen as cowering to the terrorists AND the hostages will still be killed.
