Swedish protesters denounce mosque arson attack

I don't think they will get a lot out of arson short term.
Long term, Sweden might move to a policy where less refugees are accepted.
Sweden and Germany accepts by far, by FAR many more refugees than other countries in the EU.
This increased population by 25% since I was young.

One of the arguments against accepting refugees is that it is much more expensive to help refugees in Swden.
Better bang for the buck if they are helped locally.
In Sweden you would need proper housing, just to survive the cold, not so in warmer countries.
It is hard to argue against, even if you can see that the driving force behind the reasoning is racist.

The big story right now is a busload of refugees arriving, and they were shipped north
to a camp in the woods not that far from a skiresort. I.E. -20'C and lots of snow, and not in a nice city.
They refused to leave the bus...

Refugees are accepted under UN mandate and this system is more about rich and industrialized nations working to help people of other nations who are under persecution and wars are going on over there. And all the countries decide who will take how many refugees and asylum seekers and how all the cost will be managed and in reality this has created more jobs in rich and industrialized nations. Then human rights organizations are set up and these human rights organizations get funds from the other human rights organizations etc in which even individuals do get funds etc.

Refugees with time have to return back to their countries. Whenever any organization raise this refugees and asylum seeker issues its more like getting funds from the government or international donors. If too much voices are made in EU then many of their citizens will be allowed to enter United states, Canada etc. There is a big process is set up. But the way even legal immigrants are being treated in some countries then this is ending the whole people to people contact theme .

What is strange is that in a country where everything is studied at length,
and statistics is king, no studies are made whether the stream of refugees
benefit the country or not.

If You are pro-immigration, the best argument would be to show that it is good for the country,
but noone steps forward with this argument.

The cost of refugees is thus not known. The racist SD party claims it is 40B$ / year.
A lot of the money is now taken from the part of the budget that was allocated for
International aid, so a few people consume resources intended for many.
What is known that there is a severe shortage of housing, with pricing going through the roof,
and strained medical services.
On the other hand, you have the problem of a large percentage of the population is old,
and the percentage is growing, so more young people are needed, to finance pensions.
That argument is not used, and I have no clue why.

The unemployment of these refugees is very high. Partly because of problems fitting
in, but also because of red tape blocking people to get employment.
While a large percentage is not accepted as refugees, those that do get accepted more
often than not get permanent residency, so they do not have to go back.

Personally, I think that people should be allowed to move wherever they want,
if they can get employment, but see very little reason for providing welfare
to people moving here until they show their intention and capability to be a contributor.
