but anyways, european nationalists at the time hated the way Jewish community clung to themselves and brought in a seperate culture, seperate values and traditions, etc. It's kind of like today with immigrant communities in some european countries today --though not as bad as during the holocaust. I have heard Azaan without a loudspeaker. It is very soothing to the ear.

Say the same through a crackling loudspeaker with faulty acoustics (as most mosques in India have), it loses it charm!

The Nazis rounded up MILLIONS of Jews, foreign and domestic, for slaughter. The victims you refer to were illegally employed as living armor in battle to further the Nazi cause of killing innocent Jews. Willing or not, a person who serves as a human shield is no longer a civilian but as much of a part of battle as those who dig trenches for an army.

As far as I know Jews have little or nothing to do with holocaust-denial laws. I suppose the logic is that anybody denying the Holocaust - which so many Europeans knew of or witnessed - is someone who wants to bathe Europe in murderous fascism once more, so as long as Europeans forbid themselves from doing so, they will also feel free of Nazism.
