Super pooper power India

We see that happen already. China deferred loan repayment deadline to Pakistan recently and there is no reason to believe that it will not happen again as long as both countries have shared regional interests. :coffee:
Nothing gets deferred, mostly are short term loans of ~1 year that get rolled over. On all those loans Paxtan has to pay interest.

Sure, the payments were rolled over for a couple of years back in July. Before that, the loan payments were rolled over the year before. This will continue to go on, with Pakistan only having to pay interest payments in the meantime. We do not exactly know what the interest rates are in CPEC loan agreements, but it seems manageable thus far.

China will not write off these loans, as they serve as leverage. Overall, I'd say that this is a good deal for Pakistan as long as its strategic interests align with China. :pop:

What % of China's total goods trade ships through CPEC today? I'm skeptical about such prospects because of China's population distribution graph

CPEC can become successful if Pakistan is able to make free trade deals with western and middle eastern countries. That will incentivize China to move (at least some of) its manufacturing to Pakistan and then ship finished products to the outside world. Otherwise, the simple population graph along with Pakistan's perennial security / political instability makes CPEC seem like a risky gambit :undecided:
Your map might be correct but the application of its meaning is incorrect in this regard.

How many Chinese live ON the South China Sea?

If CPEC is of no benefits to Pakistan then ehy does it give the Indians so much pains non-stop on the daily basis?

CEPEC is a debt trap for Pakistan

The proof is in front of you.

HIV/AIDS is an out of control epidemic in India but somehow it is conveniently never talked about.

But somehow a seasonal flu infecting children in China causes world news? Where they conveniently forget that those kids were in school for the first time and mostly stayed home past few years due to Covid lockdowns.

The proof is that even mentioning HIV/AIDS has been made a taboo and in the West you could risk losing your job AND get a hate crime charge just for bringing it up.

Oh give us the proofs source from international news and media your this post shows that you hate India so much without any brain you're not a neutral guy

Than you're blabbering baseless without any statistics figures
The figures show that there is an epidemic in India.

You are blabbering trying to refute the reality.

Do you deny that there is an HIV/AIDS epidemic?

Than you're blabbering baseless without any statistics figures
Ha! You have me confused with the Indian media.

It was part of Indian govts. efforts to create and spread fake news and blank out any mentiom of HIV/AIDS. You got caught red handed by the Europeans but they were still too nice about it.

Chinese manufactured goods get more economically shipped through China's east coast. Driving finished goods from the eastern half of China to Arabian sea is not cost competitive against shipping from China's east coast. China funded this project as a strategic hedge to create an alternative route if future conflicts should block its primary shipping route through east coast.

I cannot speak for Indians on this message board, but GOI's protest against CPEC is because it passes through the disputed Kashmir region that is under Pakistan's control. Indeed, this is one of Pakistan's strategic objective to approve this project :coffee:
