Not like its a small aircraft in any manner - ApG-68 sees it from the edge of its range and even the THP can make out whats coming.Belgium's F-16s jets intercepted 2 Russian Su-30 jets over the Baltic Sea. NATO accused Russians of coming close to the NATO controlled airspace.

I wonder why ... Gambler -1 was getting plenty of attention during a recent multinational exercise.Russia is pitching a reduced RCS rebuild for the Su-30 and their largest customer is very very interested post 2019…
They had more SU-30s than entire PAF'S frontline inventory...yet Modi was still crying out for Rafales.Lmao raptor of Asia as per rundians.
Sir, in that range, even me could detect any kind of fighter jet with my naked eyes.Belgium's F-16s jets intercepted 2 Russian Su-30 jets over the Baltic Sea. NATO accused Russians of coming close to the NATO controlled airspace.

And su 30 has a huge radar cross section detect lot earlier than f16 in fact apg68 can detect Su30 àt edge of its rangeSir, in that range, even me could detect any kind of fighter jet with my naked eyes.
That is more of an embarrassment to NATO than an achievement. Looks like an IRST detection.

edit never mind its TV not IR
Well its fairly routine, it’s not the first time the Belgians have intercepted Russian air assets approaching NATO airspace. The Russians aren’t trying to hide, they know they can’t - its meaning less posturing by the Russians, probably for domestic consumption.View attachment 1034696
Yes the radome on Russian SU-30s are white.
In any case , sir what's your take on the intercept detail.
Probably a little undue since the mechanics of the kill along with the resulting evidence is never going to see the light of day while amraam dodger patches keep the Indian fanboys happy.I wonder why ... Gambler -1 was getting plenty of attention during a recent multinational exercise.
Anyways welcome back ...truly missed your high octane insights.
The intercept was over the Baltic, the Russians flew over the Finnish Gulf, it’s not far from St PetersburgBelgium is quite far from Russia, I wonder which route it took and how it got there, what's it's range?
But Belgium is in western Europe how Belgium's F16s intercept Su30 over Baltic sea?The intercept was over the Baltic, the Russians flew over the Finnish Gulf, it’s not far from St Petersburg
Apparently the lock was on the engines. The image maybe editted, does not rule out the fact that NATO jet has locked on Sukhoi when Sukhoi was on complete superior angle. It is like when you see someone's punch when it has approched your face but avoided hitting you in your nose. And you feel proud of detecting that punch in the air lol.lol look at the Su-30 radar it’s glowing white hot
