Why should salaried class be subjected to any other withholding taxes at all in the first place? They already get subjected to withholding tax every month.

Laws should be applicable on all without any exception, As I said salaried person who are filing return MUST have facility to give proof of withholding tax payment to employers so their withholding tax is adjusted during the year instead of them waiting for end of year, file return and claim refund. If they aren't filing returns than they are already violating law and should consider extra tax they paid as penalty.

Laws should be simple and clear for people to follow. Not like section this of sub section division this part that of that schedule or as may be prescribed blah blah ............. the mere making the laws complicated is dishonesty on part of the legislators and government.

Getting refunds back from FBR ...... why should government and FBR be allowed to keep taxpayer's money with them for whole year and then make him go through trouble to get the credit for principle amount only?
