So why Chinese question why Vietnamese hate China?
China took ten if not hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese lives thru a war of aggression. Taking lands, islands and property.
Vietnamese have long memory. It will be a payback time. Read history.
Yes, very sad.
But if the adversaries of World War 1 can come together and cooperate for their benefit, I hope Asia can do it too.
China did not bomb Vietnam with Agent Orange like the US or enslaved Vietnam like the French.
Not good to hold grudges for too long and its not something to be proud of.
Better to focus on what's best for the present and future.
You may think why the Chinese still hold a grudge against Japan.
That is because the Japanese have not apologized sincerely for their barbaric and inhumane actions and Japan still holds onto ill gotten Chinese islands.
You may also want to ask yourself why if Vietnam was such great seafarers that they claim so much islands in the South China Sea, why South East Asia have so many ethnic Chinese settlers and not Vietnamese.
