After only half a month of humiliating Pakistan, US President Trump extended an olive branch.
According to the Washington Post, on December 3, local time, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said he received a letter from Trump asking the Pakistani government to promote the Taliban with Afghanistan, provide assistance and cooperation in peace talks, and hope to restore US-Pakistan relations.
The newspaper said that this is the first direct communication between Trump and Khan since Khan became prime minister in August this year. Last month, the two men also broke out in a "salvation war." For this letter, Pakistani analysts believe that the United States just wants to use Pakistan and let the Pakistanis do more.

Pakistani Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury confirmed the receipt of the letter that day. Chowdhury said that Trump said in his letter to Khan that the relationship between the United States and Pakistan is very important for resolving the conflict in Afghanistan. In particular, Pakistan can help bring the Taliban leaders to the negotiating table.
In addition, according to a spokesperson for the US State Department, the letter was also confirmed by the US National Security Council and the State Council, which called for the Pakistani government to "fully support the United States' efforts to advance the peace process in Afghanistan."
The "Washington Post" pointed out that Trump’s letter to Khan was the first direct communication between the two since Khan became the prime minister in August this year. As for the indirect "communication", it was the two people who used the social media to "mutually" contact each other last month.
In the middle of last month, Trump first passed through the media, and then continued to bombard Pakistan with Twitter. He defended his decision to cut aid to Pakistan, criticized Pakistan for taking money and did nothings and "taken aid from the United States, and did not disclose (the head of al-Qaeda) bin Laden's hiding place, the bird does not work."
Pakistani Prime Minister Khan called Trump’s remarks on Twitter as consider
scapegoat for the country. He stressed that Pakistan is not a “scapegoat” for the failure of the United States in Afghanistan, and is fed up with the United States to fight terrorism. "Now, we will do what is best for our people and our interests."

In January this year, the US government also announced that it would stop military aid to Pakistan on the grounds of "anti-terrorism."
It has been humiliating Pakistan for the past two weeks, and now it is directly communicating with Pakistani Prime Minister in the form of a letter. The Washington Post believes that Trump’s message has become more diplomatic and more polite, emphasizing Pakistan’s constructive and helpful role in ending the war in Afghanistan.

When Trump sent a letter to Pakistani Prime Minister, his Afghan peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad is expected to arrive in Pakistan today (4th) to hold further talks on relevant issues.
The Washington Post stated that the Trump administration is eager to make progress in peace talks and hopes to end the conflict 17 years after the war in Afghanistan. Khalilzad has met with Taliban leaders and some regional officials in the past few months, but has not made a breakthrough. The Taliban insists that foreign troops must leave Afghanistan under any agreement.
The Pakistani side welcomes this letter.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the 3rd: "Since Pakistan has always advocated ending the war in Afghanistan through political means, the US decision is welcome." "Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to play a sincere role in promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan. Still a shared responsibility."
The statement said that Trump admitted in the letter that the war cost the United States and Pakistan. He also stressed that the two countries should explore opportunities for cooperation and restore relations between the two countries.
"Pakistan Today" said on the 4th that despite the positive attitude of the Palestinians to Trump's letter, defense analysts are not optimistic about the role of this letter.
The Pakistani military, Amjad Shoaib, said, "This is actually another way of asking Pakistan to do a little more." Pakistan should be careful when dealing with the US government. Because this is another pressure strategy. The United States actually hopes that Pakistan will follow its revised South Asian policy, which means that Pakistan should work under the leadership of India, which is now an ally of the United States in the region.
When asked about the role of the Palestinians in the peace process in Afghanistan, Shayb said that the Afghan Taliban is no longer affected by the Palestinians, and Russia, China and Iran are also having an impact on the Taliban.

Do more dalla is coming the khabees poosri da.

Last time he came everyone was busy and no high profile meeting happened. Then he went to Doha and nothing happened there. Trump is now coming to his senses slowly.
Trump is coming near his elections and all his gamble are now in hands of China or Pakistan either north Korean deal or Afghan deal. Pakistan and China should cut deal with democrats and deny trump victory and extend both issues. Lol this would be the best slap on trumps face.
