It's a real Crush India forum. All the citizens of 'friendly' country's around are coming up with ''unwanted rants''

If they were Indians instead, they'd be ruthlessly murdering the poor fishermen as witnessed many a times on Bangladeshi border. Ruthless Murderers.

Thats all you can do

Coz if we deploy just 1 Shivalik class Frigate , then all your entire fleet will find its way to the bottom of the ocean

if the fishermen were in SL waters, SLN has every right to detain these guys.
I for one, have no issues with the arrests.

Had this issue the other day in Pakistan when Indian fishermen got arrested.
I would hope the authorities are severe on the captain and the owners of the boat. However the fishermen are simple workers following instructions. In most cases they will be the soul bread earners in their families hence should be released back to India asap. No need to keep them when it is not a fault of theirs. Would be unnecessary for all to put these guys in prison

These fishermen were arrested in Sri Lanka's north eastern coast which is no where near the Indo-Lanka border.

Tamil Nadu fishermen continue to poach unabated in Sri Lankan waters.

The Sri Lanka Navy said that Indian fishermen are now advancing into the Eastern seas to engage in illegal fishing activities.

Navy spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said that the Navy came to this conclusion following the arrest of 43 Indian fishermen in six fishing trawlers from Tamil Nadu were arrested in the seas off Pulmudai.

Anyone can fish outside the EEZ. It doesn't have to be near the border. Sri Lankan fishermen have been caught in the Bay of Bengal several times, all the way up to Orissa! Far away from the Sri Lankan EEZ.
