It depends on how much money China is willing to lose, because there's no way in hell that the PAF can afford to operate 5th gen fighters.
Personally, if I were PAF chief, I would just go for advanced SAMs.
Price is small considering it helps maintain regional balance in the area. Wars are started when one country is much stronger than the other.
If China considers it to be important for their interests, they can export J-20s to Pakistan. But don't expect to recieve any payment for them.
Hell they are not that poor. A squadron would cost like 4 billion. I'm sure they can afford that.
They had to cancel an order for 70 F-16s because they couldn't afford them. They bought 18 instead.
And don't forget maintenance costs, which I doubt would be cheap for 5th gen fighters.
Again, its much safer, cheaper, and effective to get advanced SAMs instead.
Someone please help get Godless Bastard to Toilet , he already is having motions by the sound of it. Relax we aren't buying them NOW but we will pay any price for our defense - history has proven it.

Between J-20 and J-16, which one is more comparable to f-22 and which one more to f-35, or is there a completely different type of classification?
Idiots... It all depends on the Sino-Indian relations. If India pisses China off, then the deal is on. If not, China is more then content to keep such tech to itself.
