Dude, the attack in Kerala was carried out by some anti-social elements, while in TN it is being led by political parties led by Ramdoss, Waiko etc. Moreover that you are stopping essential supplies to Kerala.You know very well how much we are dependent on food stuffs imported from TN. What type of attitude is this?This is more suited to enemy nations not to fellow Indians. As I said before my city has large number of Tamil owned shops including Pothis. Not a single stone was thrown at them. In a way I am proud of my fellow Keralites for their restrained response to violence against Malayalees in TN (I saw in Sun TV ), but I cannot say for how much we will keep this restraint.

i am not supporting either side....the vandals on this side of the border are as to be blamed as the rowdies on that side...

both sides are indulging in unsavory activities and this is not good...

the solution to this is tamil nadu must sit down for negotiations serioulsy and provide security to mallu establishments nd kerala must crack down on those mobs who are threatening the dam with jcbs, damaging posts,attacking swamis etc....

no one is saint here...unilateral actions on both sides must stop and wait for sc decision and abide by it...

RECENTLY FOOD TRUCKS FROM TAMILNADU WERE ATTACKED... SO HE WAS SAYING THAT "WE ARE NOT GONA GO TO KERALA WITH FOOD TRUCKS WHEN ATTACKS ARE HAPPENING"

I completely agree with Sparky's article. We must built a new dam downstream. Let the TN take care of the old dam until they break which will surely happen before the 999 years is up.

why don't the central govt take control over all the Damns rather than giving the free ride to state govts. I don't think there would be any major issue for creating a new Dam..

It's a serious issue that we are internally fighting for water..

The new affidavit t be submitted has a proposal of building a full structured safety dam with Mullaperiyar dam kept as it is for the time being.

Its on our soil, on our river ... so wont be an issue.

I SAW THAT NEWS ----IF U HEARD THAT NEWS CLEARLY THAT GUY SPEAKING IS AN CONTRACTOR NOT AN GOVT OFFICIAL

RECENTLY FOOD TRUCKS FROM TAMILNADU WERE ATTACKED... SO HE WAS SAYING THAT "WE ARE NOT GONA GO TO KERALA WITH FOOD TRUCKS WHEN ATTACKS ARE HAPPENING"

I said earlier I can't read Tamil, so didn't make out the name tag but even today I saw in your news some guy (is some head of some merchant association) saying that they will not supply goods to Keralites.

The major issue is some crazy people are creating violence across border areas. . They have started vandalizing Malayali hotels and instruments..
even they are not sparing private vehicles.....

thats because once they see the TN name plate they are getting attacked in kerala..thats what the news said according to him....kerala police must give protection if they want the lorries to come inside with the supplies...

pls remember even during the peak anti-hindi agitation northerners were not harmed in tn...
