She was trying to cross from India to Bangladesh. Why not use the legally operated gate? I dont think BSF would have stopped BD people from leaving India.

it always hurt when Innocent people are killed, but why blame BSF they are just doing duty. an ideal solution is something like JOb card ID which they can use instead of lenghty passport/visa route.

also it should be noted that BD memnbers have no shame in admitting that their motives in moving to assam is to make it a part of BD. what if BSF kills some one trying to do so. whose fault it will be ?

There is no reason of killing a 15 year old girl... I think your BSF should be at least brave enough to capture a 15 year old girl alive..

N bd people never said that bd people are going to assam but said bengali muslims are living there for centuries... once they will be the majority they may claim independence as they are discriminated regularly over there... and just remember socio economical condition of assam, mijoram and tripura are lower then bd... just for your info 45% of the people of assam are bengali not talking about kolkata babus and muslim in around 35% and most of them are living there from 12th century and reminder of them were brought there by british to cultivate lands from sylhets ... so they already have relatives on the other side of the border.. so after getting independence no one can rule out the fact that they will deny any possibility to merge with bangladesh where they have ancestral link and many relatives...

N do not try to underestimate claiming of separate state by the Assamese people ... so far it is claimed by some isolated groups... if there are any popular uprising it will be very difficult for India to keep the region under its control... and UN will simply ask for referendum which india hardly will be able to ignore if any popular uprising occurs... So instead of blaming bd india should try to treat people equally instead of discrimination and hate filled ranting against the minority which is mostly done by radical hindu groups...

dude it must be most absurd logic ever present. Partition of India was done on the basis of religion. large scale migration happened on both sides of border and many were displace from their native places .same happened in BD, Pakistan , India , story is same everywhere. you are talikng about muslims living in NE India since 12 th centurty and hebce they have right to move back. i say hindus are living and were living in the area what is called as BD/pakistan since time immemorial, should we overwhelm BD with Hindu poulation since they too are dicriminated.

Most of the people those who have been killed are innocent civilians in the border are not illegal immigrants... read my previous post regarding people in the border area...
