Shiv Sena targets Naseeruddin Shah over Indo-Pak remarks

Shiv Sena on Monday targeted actor Naseeruddin Shah over his remarks on India and Pakistan relations.

Sena said that Naseeruddin Shah can seek his answers from those who have been victims of terrorist activities carried out from the soil of the neighbouring country.

Naseeruddin Shah, in an interview to a website, had reportedly expressed regret on the animosity between both the countries and had said that Indians were being brain-washed to believe that Pakistan is an enemy. Shah had also reportedly said that he keeps visiting Pakistan because he feels "it is very important to have a person-to-person contact".

"The answer to Shah's question on why is there so much hatred for Pakistan can be given by those who lost their near and dear ones during the 26/11 attacks. Pakistan continues to engage in bloodshed. Not only 26/11, the Delhi Parliament attack and terrorist attacks before that too were masterminded from Pakistan," Shiv Sena said in its mouthpiece 'Saamana.'

"Just a couple of days back, there was a terrorist attack at Kathua police check-post in Kashmir which killed an Indian soldier. Ask the soldier's parents why do they have so much hatred for Pakistan," the Sena said.

It added that Pakistan's intentions are for everyone to see when Pakistan Ambassador Abdul Basit invited separatists for dinner to celebrate Pakistan Day in the national capital.

"Inspite of all this, if you say that there should be no hatred for Pakistan, should we ignore the past violence that has been committed on Indian soil and what the country is planning to do in future ?" Saamna editorial said.

"What Naseeruddin Shah earned after years of hard work, he lost in an instant. We wonder if someone from Lahore has done black magic on him. He was never like this," Shiv Sena said.

now this is BS....we have problems with Pakistan however then what is the way out?? Nuke them?? Why can't we think like this that better relations with Pakistan would mean that terrorists will loose ground?? Isn't this going to save Indians in some future attacks?? Now i am not saying we should allow terror tactic as a blackmail tool...however we must ensure that we improve relations on a level playing field...it would be great not only for people of India/Pakistan but entire South Asia....

Shah went to Pak to promote his book therefore made the right noises.

I think these douche bags of the Shiv Sena haven't realised the difference between the ordinary Pakistani and the Pakistani Establishment. The latter is up to no good with its dirty tricks department. But the majority of Pakistanis want to get on with their lives. They have little or nothing to do with the proxy war that's being waged against India by the Establishment's 'strategic assets'.

why are you sounding pessimistic as though you are expecting a bang in front of your house, there are many ways India can prevent Pakistan from doing its nonsensical acts, and all the level playing fields have been experimented with no use, India should fortify the border so that it will be sure death for the intruders, and it does not give one freedom to speak as though he doesn't know any thing about the heinus crimes committed by the pakistanis

Listen zero sum games are stupid way of dealing with anyone...we should go hard with Pakistan however doesn't mean that we should simply ignore liberal voices on both sides...as far as freedom goes then i believe lot of freedom has been given to thugs like Sena....
