for the sake of this poor soul and many many more unnamed and unknown poor souls that have suffered at the hands of savages I pray that the culprit is positively identified and brought to justice.
FC/ Army has a big responsibility at its hands to push for a closure on this.

I wonder if we have DNA forensic science available to us? can someone from medical background advise us? whats the new name of our @Antibody friend?

Is the identity of the killer in any doubt that DNA evidence is needed? He has confessed to the crime and its motive, and this can be corroborated by other evidence:

No leads in finding culprit
Police have not detained any suspect in connection with the murder of Saher Batool even though a week has gone by since the crime took place.

"We have been clueless in terms of tracking down the culprits,” Capital City Police Officer Quetta Razzaq Cheema told Dawn on Friday.

'Minor girl raped by man' that's all.

In this case the identity may have played a part so it should be reported.

It is the same news story.

The source was a human rights activist. she runs and NGO she had shared the news with our journalist forum. Its good that AFP and Dawn reported it also after that.

These are religious motivated killings. The incident of this girl is no different than Christian couples killed two days ago or hindu girl forced converted.

correct another minority killed however since there are not many similar cases this news peace is shedding lights on the new pinnacles achieved by the glorious and magnificient flag bearers of ummat e muslimah

Now the version of the police has also been sent by an official of the police through email at journalist forum so i am sharing it as well bellow.

Police Version

"This is a heart-rending and gruesome murder. But, it is also important to point out a few elements in the otherwise very moving message of Huma Fouladi which are not established so far in Police investigation. Those are as follows:

1. The cause of death as per the postmortem report which the undersigned has studied, is asphyxia, caused by strangulation. The redness on the neck is due to the ligature (it is a ligature mark as well as the bleeding under the skin due to trauma.
2. The Hyoid bone is broken which suggests a lot of force used in strangulation and a possible hanging, but the post-morteming doctor has not suggested that it is death by hanging.
3. Rape is not proven yet.
4. No limb of the victim is broken except the Hyoid bone.
5. So far, investigation has not found a sectarian element.
6. So far, no Pesh Imam has been arrested who has confessed this murder.
7. The case is still a mystery, but police is confident that it will be worked out soon, and both the killer and the motive will be out. Investigation team is working 24/7 on this murder which has deeply hurt us all.
