Let's get real here. His release is very obviously the result of intense back-channel interventions by third-parties. Modi needed to save face, and IK needed India to retreat so things can get back to normal again. Modi has been thoroughly humiliated and had the Indian Navy ready to start a missile attack on Karachi. Regardless of who woud've lost or won, we are in no economic position to prolong this unnecessary madness any further. IMO, IK made the right decision in the end. We need to get back to focusing on our economy and development within or country.

A silver lining to all this is that the country is now fully confident in our armed forces and our leader.
